Ohmigod. I can't wait til the weather improves. I LOVE barbecues. Or at least having them at home. We cheat a little, in so far as we have a gas BBQ but the food is cooked better than with charcoal ones.
Anyway, its great coz basically all the while the weather is good hubby will cook most every night. We eat in the garden and its absolute heaven. We used to do burgers and sausages and not much else, but last summer we got into slightly more interesting things. We still primarily do sausage and burgers though.
We've had some nice smoked haddock, pineapples, peppers, corn, mushrooms, ribs, bananas and all sorts. I love barbecues. Bring on the sunshine!

ah yes!` i totally agree! i live right near the sea and once summer kicks in, me, hubbie and bro go down, do a little surfing and then....GET OUT THE PORTABLE BARBI!!!! there is nothing better then the smell or the attention you get from hungry passer bys with there stupid celophaned sarnies!!!!
